Network Security Startup TraceVector Raises $8 Million from IA Ventures, Khosla Ventures

TraceVector — whose platform claims to “usher in a new era in network security” — has raised $8 million in a funding round featuring IA Ventures and Khosla Ventures, according to the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

The company’s platform combines “cutting-edge processor technology, software innovation and mathematical algorithms,” and is currently in beta mode.

It’s all very (purposefully) vague — which is a shame, because we are still looking for a company to replace RoboteX’s funding from Peter Thiel as this month’s most futuristic, “what-hath-we-wrought” security investment.
