TechCrunch Apologizes For Allowing ‘Titstare’ To Present At Disrupt Hackathon

TechCrunch has issued a public apology for allowing Titstare to present at this past weekend’s TechCrunch Disrupt Hackathon.

Titstare is an app that encourages users to upload photos of themselves staring at women’s chests, and you can watch the cheeky Australian founders Jethro Batts and David Boulton pitch the app — somewhat amusingly — in the clip below.

Ironically enough, Titstare presented right before Adria Richards, who rose to national prominence earlier this year when she was fired for complaining about “dongle” jokes at Pycon 2013, according to ReadWrite.
